Skycaps Lose Class Cert. Bid In JetBlue Tip Dispute

Law360, New York (October 1, 2010, 5:13 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has denied an attempt to certify a national class in a suit accusing JetBlue Airways Corp. and Flight Services & Systems Inc. of cutting into skycaps' tips by charging a check-in fee.

Judge George A. O'Toole Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts denied the plaintiffs' motion for class certification in an opinion filed Thursday.
