Fed. Circ. Affirms DOC Decision To Nix Zeroing

Law360, New York (October 5, 2010, 4:19 PM EDT) -- U.S. Steel Corp. and Nucor Corp. have lost a bid to overturn a ruling that upheld the U.S. Department of Commerce's decision to abandon zeroing in calculating anti-dumping duties for certain steel products from the Netherlands.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit on Monday upheld a July 20 decision in the U.S. Court of International Trade affirming the department's anti-dumping determination for European producer Corus Staal BV.
