Evidence Squabble Threatens EBG Auction Schedule

Law360, New York (October 5, 2010, 1:18 PM EDT) -- An evidence dispute Tuesday threw a wrench into a hearing over the proposed auction of assets owned by bankrupt power company EBG Holdings LLC and threatened to cut short a timetable for competing bid submissions.

A lawyer representing second-lien lender agent Wilmington Trust FSB told Judge Shelley C. Chapman in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York that attorneys for the debtor's parent failed to turn over tax information until Tuesday morning.
