Jury Selection Begins In AT&T Antitrust Case

Law360 (March 6, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A California superior court kicked off the jury selection process Tuesday in the long-running antitrust case alleging AT&T entered into illegal tying arrangements in other states.

Judge Steven L. Perk of the Santa Ana Superior Court got the ball rolling in the case RLH Industries Inc. brought over four years ago. The Orange, Calif.-based maker of high-voltage protection devices accused AT&T of violating various states’ limitations which barred it from selling surge-protection equipment to local phone companies in markets where AT&T units already provided such services....
