La. Case Against BP To Remain In Federal Court

Law360, New York (October 7, 2010, 4:40 PM EDT) -- The state of Louisiana's suit against BP PLC over the sinking of the Deepwater Horizon rig will stay in the federal court handling the Deepwater-related multidistrict litigation, despite the state's request to have one of its parish courts hear the case.
