Consumers Target J&J Unit Over Listerine Marketing

Law360, New York (October 7, 2010, 3:27 PM EDT) -- Johnson & Johnson’s embattled McNeil Consumer Healthcare unit has been hit with a proposed class action alleging deceptive marketing of Listerine Total Care Anticavity Mouthwash, on the heels of a U.S. Food and Drug Administration warning over the company's claims that the mouthwash prevents gum disease.
