Airgas Bashes Air Products 'End Run' Tactics In Buyout

Law360, New York (October 8, 2010, 7:55 PM EDT) -- Airgas Inc. on Friday accused hostile suitor Air Products and Chemicals Inc. of contriving an “end run” around corporate law and the besieged company’s charter, hoping to invalidate one of its own bylaws that could allow the rival to quickly install Airgas directors receptive to the $5.5 billion bid.
