Broadcom Takes SiRF To Task Over GPS Patent Order

Law360, New York (October 11, 2010, 4:55 PM EDT) -- Broadcom Corp. has accused SiRF Technology Inc. and its affiliates of continuing to market GPS devices that were found to infringe patents held by Broadcom Corp. in defiance of a 2009 U.S. International Trade Commission exclusion order.

In a complaint filed with the ITC on Friday, Broadcom seeks formal enforcement proceedings in the case to remedy violations of the exclusion order and cease-and-desist order by SiRF, Mio Technology Ltd. USA and Pharos Science & Applications Inc.
