Execs Face Extradition Over Bid-Rigging Charges

Law360, New York (October 11, 2010, 12:40 PM EDT) -- The attorney general of Trinidad and Tobago has reportedly agreed to extradite two local businessmen to the U.S. to face bid-rigging charges related to the construction of a $1.6 billion airport in Trinidad.

Attorney General Anand Ramlogan said in a press release Saturday that he had acceded to the request by the U.S. to have Ishwar Galbaransingh and Steve Ferguson tried in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, where they were indicted on money laundering and other charges in 2006.
