High Court To Mull Convicts' Standing To Challenge Laws

Law360, New York (October 12, 2010, 2:15 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court agreed Tuesday to decide whether a wife convicted of terrorizing her husband's pregnant mistress with toxic chemicals has standing to challenge the federal statute under which she was convicted.

The high court said it would hear the appeal of Carol Anne Bond, whose conviction and six-year sentence for possessing and using a chemical weapon and mail theft was upheld in September 2009 by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
