US Lifts Ban On Deepwater Drilling

Law360, New York (October 12, 2010, 1:58 PM EDT) -- Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar lifted the federal ban on deepwater oil drilling Tuesday, saying he was confident new federal rules for rig operators would largely mitigate the dangers of drilling.
