St. Vincent, Consultant Fight Over Fees

Law360, New York (March 8, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A firm working as a consultant for bankrupt St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers has appealed to the bankruptcy court to get the hospital system to cough up the nearly $1.4 million it says it is owed.

In an emergency motion filed this week in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, Huron Consulting Services LLC said that the hospital hadn’t paid it for fees and expenses in the third interim fee order or for monthly fees and expenses over a four-month period....
