BAA To Seek UK Supreme Court Appeal In Antitrust Row

Law360, New York (October 13, 2010, 4:44 PM EDT) -- BAA Airports Ltd. said Wednesday it is taking its battle with the U.K. Competition Commission over airport divestments to the nation's highest court, now that an appeals court has overturned a lower court ruling in its favor.

The Court of Appeals issued a decision Wednesday reinstating the commission's March 2009 order requiring BAA to sell off three of its airports in England and Scotland in order to stoke competition in the market.
