Thai, US Shrimpers To Appeal Latest Duty Review

Law360, New York (October 14, 2010, 12:44 PM EDT) -- A committee of domestic shrimp suppliers and a group of Thai shrimp exporters have lodged back-to-back suits challenging the results of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s latest review of shrimp imports from Thailand.

In a pair of summonses served to Commerce on Tuesday in the U.S. Court of International Trade, the Ad Hoc Shrimp Trade Action Committee and Thai exporters from the Rubicon Group launched separate objections to Commerce’s fourth anti-dumping duty administrative review on the frozen warmwater shrimp imports.
