ITA Snags Ex-Ambassador For Deputy Director Post

Law360, New York (October 13, 2010, 4:47 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Administration has picked up a former U.S. diplomat to help head its foreign trade promotion arm.

Charles A. Ford, who served as the U.S. ambassador to Honduras from 2005 to 2008, started at his new post Tuesday as deputy director general of the ITA's U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service, according to an announcement from Francisco J. Sanchez, undersecretary of commerce for international trade.
