NightHawk Shareholder Sues To Bar $170M VRad Deal

Law360, New York (October 13, 2010, 5:12 PM EDT) -- A NightHawk Radiology Holdings Inc. shareholder has filed a proposed class action seeking to block the radiology service provider's $170 million tie-up with national radiology practice Virtual Radiologic Corp.

Plaintiff Michael Scully claimed the vRad offer was “unfair and grossly inadequate” in a complaint filed Monday in the Delaware Chancery Court by Blake A. Bennett of Cooch & Taylor PA and Nadeem Faruqi, Shane Rowley and Juan E. Monteverde of Faruqi & Faruqi LLP.
