The annual introduction of a new fashion bill has become as regular as New York’s fall fashion week. This year’s bill, the Innovative Design Protection and Piracy Prevention Act (“IDPPPA”), offers a compromise-inspired collection of rules that would protect truly innovative fashion yet keep baseless infringement actions corseted.
