Security Co. Loses Protest Of $17M Contract Award

Law360, New York (October 14, 2010, 4:57 PM EDT) -- Trinity Technology Group Inc. has lost its protest of a $17 million U.S. Department of Justice bid award to rival ManTech Security & Mission Assurance for security support services for the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys.

The Government Accountability Office ruled in a redacted order released Wednesday that the DOJ did not abuse its authority in overlooking Trinity's lower bid because of doubts that the contractor had the requisite manpower and technology to perform the duties required.
