Jury Nails Ex-Gateway Execs In SEC Fraud Suit

Law360, New York (March 8, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Gateway Inc.’s former finance chief and controller exaggerated the computer maker’s earnings to meet Wall Street targets in 2000, a San Diego jury has found.

The jury issued the verdicts against former Chief Financial Officer John J. Todd and former Controller Robert D. Manza on Wednesday after a three week trial in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
