Law360 (March 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Ropes & Gray’s energy practice, which has been around since the early 1900s, considers itself a cross-borders group. It includes, for instance, corporate lawyers who concentrate on transactions between energy providers.

The 2005 merger between general practice firm Ropes & Gray LLP and intellectual property boutique Fish & Neave improved the larger group’s already strong energy practice.
