Unilever Hit With New Suit Over Tainted Slim-Fast

Law360, New York (October 18, 2010, 12:34 PM EDT) -- A man who claims he suffered a septic sore throat and stomach blockage after drinking contaminated Slim-Fast weight loss products that were recalled by Unilever U.S. Inc. last year has sued the company for negligence.

Junius Roussell Jr., of Mt. Airy, La., filed the suit Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, alleging that the Slim-Fast products tainted with Bacillus cereus bacteria were unfit for human consumption.
