Student Housing Co. Accuses Rival Of Denver Monopoly

Law360, New York (October 18, 2010, 7:57 PM EDT) -- A student housing provider has filed a suit alleging rival Campus Village Apartments LLC's arrangement to provide freshman accommodations at the University of Colorado Denver amounts to a monopoly over the city's student housing market.

Auraria Student Housing at the Regency LLC filed a complaint Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, alleging Campus Village had violated the conspiracy to monopolize provision of the Sherman Act, as well as the Clayton Antitrust Act and state tort laws.
