Retail Clerk Hits Interstate Brands With OT Action

Law360, New York (October 20, 2010, 2:58 PM EDT) -- A former Interstate Brands Corp. retail clerk has brought a putative collective action that accuses the Hostess Brands Inc. unit of requiring employees to work off-the-clock after their shifts ended.

Barbara Weidmann filed the complaint Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, claiming she was an hourly paid employee for the defendant in Florida from April 2008 through May 2010.
