Chamber Of Commerce Calls For Reforms

Law360 (March 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Although an increase in international competition has affected the U.S. capital markets, implementing a few reforms to regulations governing the securities industry will make the markets more competitive, according to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

In a recently released report on regulation in the U.S. capital markets in the twenty-first century, the Chamber of Commerce assessed the current state of the securities industry and made several recommendations for improving the competitive position of U.S. markets.
