Preliminary Hearing In Plavix Trial Set For December

Law360 (August 23, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal court has scheduled a preliminary hearing for Dec. 8 in Sanofi-Aventis' patent infringement lawsuit against Apotex and Dr. Reddy’s over its blood-thinning drug Plavix, following months of delays.

District Judge Sidney Stein in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York in Manhattan took over the case earlier this year, leading to a delay of the trial by "three to six months,” according to Sanofi.
