More Transparency Needed In FCPA Efforts, Group Says

Law360, New York (October 20, 2010, 6:04 PM EDT) -- The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development praised the U.S. on Wednesday for its increasing efforts to crack down on foreign bribery, but it said regulators and prosecutors should be more transparent about the reasons they use particular kinds of agreements to resolve certain cases.

In a report, the multinational civic and public policy organization lauded the U.S. for its tough measures and increasing number of enforcement actions aimed at stamping out violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
