ITC Launches Investigation Into Chinese Flooring

Law360, New York (October 22, 2010, 5:58 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has begun investigating whether China is flooding the U.S. market with unfairly priced hardwood flooring.

Prompted by a request from the ad hoc industry group Coalition for American Hardwood Parity, the ITC launched two investigations into China's alleged sales of unfairly priced “multilayered wood flooring,” ITC Secretary Marilyn R. Abbott said in a notice released Thursday.
