Electrical Engineering Co. Execs Accused Of Bribe Plot

Law360, New York (October 22, 2010, 4:49 PM EDT) -- Prosecutors have indicted two executives at electrical engineering company Lindsey Manufacturing Co. on charges they took part in a scheme to bribe Mexican officials at the country’s state-owned utility company.

Government attorneys alleged Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California that Lindsey Manufacturing President Keith Lindsey and Vice President Steve Lee paid an intermediary company to lavish at least two Comision Federal de Electricidad officials with gifts and money in exchange for lucrative electrical supply contracts.
