Judge Won't Trim Nat'l Century VP's 10-Year Sentence

Law360, New York (October 22, 2010, 4:36 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has refused to reduce the 10-year sentence handed down to Roger Faulkenberry, a former vice president at National Century Financial Enterprises Inc., despite an appeals court ruling that nixed money laundering convictions against him.

At a resentencing hearing on Friday, Judge Algenon L. Marbley said he would not order a reduction in Faulkenberry's sentence in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
