King Pharma Drug Reps Sue For Overtime Pay

Law360, New York (October 26, 2010, 1:38 PM EDT) -- King Pharmaceuticals Inc. has been hit with a collective action accusing the company of misclassifying its drug representatives as exempt from overtime pay requirements.

In a complaint filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, former pharmaceutical representative David Heldman claimed that King Pharmaceuticals refused to pay employees overtime in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
