Food Service Faces Suit Over Missed Breaks

Law360, New York (March 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A San Diego, Calif.-based food and beverage service has been hit with a proposed class action alleging that the company has failed to provide hourly employees with adequate meal and rest breaks as required under state law.

The employees of Premier Food Services Inc. have sought compensatory damages for four years of missed breaks in their action before the San Diego Superior Court.
