Blue Cross Sued Over Residential Coverage Limits

Law360, New York (March 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The parent of a severely emotionally disturbed minor is challenging Blue Cross of California over the health insurance provider’s 100 day-per-year coverage limit for treatment of children with emotional illnesses at residential treatment centers.

The proposed class action, filed on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, was brought on behalf a minor known as Zachary W.
