Ex-Peregrine Chief Pleads Guilty

Law360, New York (March 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The former chief executive of Peregrine Systems Inc. has pled guilty to charges relating to his role in the accounting scandal that plunged the Silicon Valley software company into bankruptcy.

Stephen Parker Gardner on Tuesday changed his not-guilty plea in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. He pled guilty for conspiring to commit securities and wire fraud, committing securities fraud and obstructing justice.
