3P To Cough Up $2.25M To End Disputes With Drivers

Law360, New York (October 28, 2010, 7:21 PM EDT) -- A federal judge in Oregon has preliminarily approved a $1.125 million settlement in a class action employment dispute between 3P Delivery Inc. and its delivery drivers, on the heels of a Washington court's approval of a nearly identical settlement.

Under the terms of the Oregon settlement, approved Wednesday by Magistrate Judge Dennis J. Hubel of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, each member of the class will receive an average of $5,000, according to an unopposed motion for approval filed by the plaintiffs....
