Wilson Sonsini Staffer Sentenced For Role In $1M Fraud

Law360 (October 29, 2010, 3:10 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has ordered a law firm employee and a former printing company executive to serve a combined 36 months in prison for fraudulently billing Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati PC more than $1 million for office supplies.

Judge Jeremy Fogel of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Thursday sentenced John Tashiro, a purchasing specialist at Wilson Sonsini's Palo Alto, Calif., office, to 24 months imprisonment, while hitting Daniel Dominguez, former accounting manager for Attorneys Printing Supply, with a one-year sentence for perpetrating the scam.
