Microtune Exec Can't Dodge SEC's Backdating Claims

Law360, New York (November 1, 2010, 1:28 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has declined to toss claims that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission lodged against the former chief financial officer of Microtune Inc. over an alleged stock options backdating scheme.

In an order issued Friday, Judge Jane J. Boyle of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas denied the summary judgment motion filed by Nancy A. Richardson, who also served as general counsel at the radio frequency and silicon company.
