C.H. Robinson Suit Shipped To Alabama In Venue Spat

Law360 (March 15, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An Illinois district court has shipped an employment lawsuit against C.H. Robinson Worldwide to Alabama, jumping into a change-of-venue controversy that arose after a wage-and-hour collective action against the transport business was decertified.

The U.S. District Court for the District of Illinois on Wednesday granted defendant C.H. Robinson’s request to transfer a case to the U.S. District Court for the District of Alabama in a lead ruling.
