Pa. Asks Retailers To Stop Selling Boozy Energy Drinks

Law360, New York (November 2, 2010, 5:55 PM EDT) -- Regulators from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board have asked state retailers to pull all alcoholic energy drinks from their shelves, pending the results of an ongoing investigation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

On Monday, a PLCB spokeswoman announced that the organization had sent letters last week to bars and distributors around the state asking them to voluntarily stop selling the products while the FDA continues to study their risks.
