BofA Faces False Marking Suit Over Sample Cards

Law360, New York (November 4, 2010, 4:40 PM EDT) -- Bank of America Corp. and marketing supply chain management company Production Services Associates LLC have been slapped with a lawsuit accusing them of duping the public by marking sample credit cards with an expired patent that does not actually cover them.

Patent Truth LLC filed its lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Pennsylvania on Wednesday, claiming that the alleged false marking has tricked the public and deterred competition to the defendants' financial benefit.
