W.Va. High Court Greenlights Drilling In State Park

Law360, New York (November 4, 2010, 5:26 PM EDT) -- West Virginia's highest court has affirmed a ruling that will allow Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. to drill for natural gas underneath a 4,000-acre park in the southern portion of the state.

In a per curiam decision reached Wednesday, the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia rejected an appeal from the state's Department of Environmental Protection and two conservation groups.
