Tulsa Medical Center Can't Escape Medicaid Suit

Law360, New York (November 8, 2010, 4:03 PM EST) -- A federal judge has shot down a bid by AHS Tulsa Regional Medical Center LLC to end a whistleblower action brought by an employee that accuses the hospital of billing Medicaid for false claims related to inpatient psychiatric services.

Judge Terence Kern of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma said Friday that the hospital’s alleged violation of treatment regulations formed an adequate basis for the suit.
