Saccharin Maker Sues US Over Taiwanese Exports

Law360, New York (November 8, 2010, 1:46 PM EST) -- U.S. saccharin producer Kinetic Industries Inc. is alleging the Department of Commerce refused to investigate whether Taiwanese companies were quietly exporting Chinese-made saccharin that should be subject to anti-dumping duties.

Kinetic wants Commerce to launch an investigation into five Taiwanese companies that are allegedly reselling sugar substitute that actually comes from China, it said in a complaint filed Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade.
