Class, Collective Cert. Granted In Entergy OT Suit

Law360, New York (November 8, 2010, 1:01 PM EST) -- A federal judge has granted class and collective certification to a group of Entergy Nuclear Operations Inc. employees in a five-year-old suit that accuses the nuclear power provider of failing to pay overtime wages.

Judge Mark Wolf of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts on Friday opened the door for employees at three Entergy-operated nuclear facilities in Plymouth, Mass., to fight for allegedly unpaid time-and-a-half wages as a Rule 23 class and a Fair Labor Standards Act collective.
