AHM, Creditors Wail On Borrowers' Atty Fees

Law360, New York (November 9, 2010, 6:25 PM EST) -- American Home Mortgage Holdings Inc. and the fallen lender’s creditors have come out against Gilbert LLP and Zuckerman Spaeder LLP’s request for roughly $700,000 in fees for representing mortgage borrowers in the Chapter 11 liquidation.

On Monday, AHM and the creditors committee urged Judge Christopher S. Sontchi of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware to reject the final fee applications from the firms serving as counsel to the official committee of borrowers because they have already far exceeded the discovery and fee limits...
