Medtronic Sues Cordis In New Stent Dispute

Law360 (March 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The fresh lawsuit was filed March 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, alleging Cordis infringed two patents for expandable stent technology and a method of drug delivery.

Medtronic is the sole licensee of the patents in suit, which were issued in 2005 to two Canadian doctors and assigned to Vancouver, Canada-based drug maker Evysio Medical Devices ULC.
