Mylan Reaches $2.6M Deal In Mass. Medicaid Case

Law360, New York (November 10, 2010, 4:52 PM EST) -- Mylan Inc. has coughed up $2.6 million to settle a lawsuit alleging it and several other drugmakers reported false and inflated prices for generic pharmaceutical products paid for by the Massachusetts Medicaid program, leaving just one defendant remaining in the case.

The office for Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley said Monday that Mylan had paid over $2.6 million as part of a settlement in the Massachusetts False Claims Act case, which is pending in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
