EU High Court Rejects Appeal Of Repsol Contract Suit

Law360, New York (November 11, 2010, 1:17 PM EST) -- The European Union's highest court struck down a gas station owner's challenge Thursday to a 2006 deal calling for Spanish energy giant Repsol YPF to change exclusive service contracts that the European Commission found anti-competitive.

The European Court of Justice dismissed an appeal from Transportes Evaristo Molina SA, ruling that the station owner had waited too long to challenge the commission decision approving Repsol's commitments.
