Cardinal Health Sued Over Tissue Implant Patents

Law360 (March 20, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Texas-based medical device company filed a patent infringement suit Monday against Cardinal Health Inc. and Allegiance Corp. over medical devices used to strengthen bones.

Arthrocare Corp. accuses the health care companies, which merged in 1999, of infringing five patents regarding the application of hard tissue implants. The surgical equipment maker is seeking a declaration of infringement, an injunction against further infringement and damages.
