USPTO Panel To Look At Ways To Improve Electronic Filings

Law360 (September 2, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has formed a panel to look into ways of revamping its much-maligned e-filing system.

Rick D. Nydegger, Chairman of the USPTO’s Public Patent Advisory Committee, said the agency would establish a new E-Filing and E-Government Subcommittee to “help advance the technology and process automation.”
