Doctor Preps Bail Package In Hedge Fund Tip-Off Case

Law360, New York (November 12, 2010, 6:31 PM EST) -- A French doctor accused of helping a hedge fund avoid $30 million in losses by passing along tips about clinical trials will remain in U.S. custody until his lawyers negotiate a bail package.

Lawyers for Yves Benhamou from Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP told Magistrate Judge Gabriel W. Gorenstein in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York that they hope to have negotiated a bail package by Nov. 17.
